Alberto Mejía-Paniagua grew up in the coastal city of La Ceiba, Honduras. Passionate about art and wildlife since he was a child, he connects these two subjects through scientific illustration. Among his main interests are communicating and disseminating science, environmental education and respect for ancestral knowledge. He is currently studying Ecology and Biodiversity at the Federal University of Latin American Integration, Brazil.
