Research Associate
María is a Honduran biologist who graduated from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. Her career has fostered a deep passion for sharks and marine conservation. Currently, she works as a Research Associate with GVI-Flex, where she actively contributes to marine conservation efforts. In addition, María collaborates with ilili on their citizen science program, specifically focusing on the Eagle Ray project. Her enthusiasm for conservation drives her unwavering commitment to protecting marine species and habitats. She looks forward to continuing her work with ilili, aiming to make a meaningful impact on conservation initiatives and to raise awareness about the critical importance of marine ecosystems.
