So much has been accomplished since this first small step with the MCAF. Bay Islands Shark Sightings: More Whale sharks for the third quarter of 2025
Our last update on the shark sightings was during the ilili shark week in July. It was an amazing evening filled with ilili updates including all our citizen science results up to date! Now, three months later we are back with our latest results from our shark sightings project. Since July, we’ve had 43 reports from seven species. Among the most exciting sightings are the three times when whale sharks were sighted for a few consecutive days in July, September and October.
